“I like memorize English words” final themed with “More words More confidences” has been   successfully held at 6pm on November 22 in room F306 of the 2nd teaching building. The contest was organized by the School of Foreign Languages.  The English department head, associate Professor Yuan Bing and the student counselor Mr. Liu Congwen attended the event.

The final is consisted of “the first and last letter game” “charades” and ”counting game”， as a result of the contest, the top three was respectively  awarded to the School of Foreign Language, the Humanities College and the School of Materials Science and Engineering. Ms. Yuan Bing also made a comment on the final in English; she highly praised the performance of the contestants’.

The contest not only improved the English abilities of the students from the School of Foreign Language, but also increased interests in learning English of the students from other Schools. The students felt the importance of teamwork and got more confidences while enjoying brainstorm.
