Huai Peixin, a teacher from the School of Foreign Language, received the invitation from the organizing committee of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and consented to be a steward of the equestrian event from July 19th, 2021 to August 7th, 2021. She is the only equestrian technical official from China. After accomplishing the work of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Mrs. Huai returned to China on August 9th.
The equestrian technical officers have consisted of the representatives of technical, the adjudication board, the stewards, the representatives of veterinarians, and the route architects. There were a total of 109 technical officers who came from 38 countries who judged the equestrian competition. The primary mission of Mrs. Huai was to supervise the use of medicine means in a stable and the training methods in training and warm-up hall. Also, she was in charge of inspecting whether the equestrian equipment on the arena and all the competitive materials were accorded with rules and requirements or not.
As a referee of international equestrian competitions for years, Mrs. Huai made a great contribution to the development of the equestrian events in China by judging equestrian competitions nationally and internationally several times and translating many equestrian training materials.
