On March 25, a delegation of students and faculty from the University of Cambridge visited our university for a cultural exchange program. The event, organized by the Office of International Exchange and the School of Foreign Languages (SFL), included a campus tour, a visit to the University History Museum, a collaborative AI art session, and immersive traditional Chinese culture experiences.
Student and faculty ambassadors from SFL led the Cambridge delegation on a tour of the University History Museum, offering insights into the institution's history and development.
Chen Qingchang, Director of the Office of International Exchange, extended a warm welcome to the visitors, emphasizing the importance of such exchanges in building mutual understanding. A key activity involved students from both universities co-creating a long-scroll painting. The Cambridge students also gained hands-on experience in Chinese calligraphy and traditional Hanfu clothing, learning about their cultural significance from members of the university's Hanfu Club.
The event served as a bridge for cultural interaction and future collaboration between the two universities, broadening participants' international perspectives and laying a groundwork for potential joint initiatives.
