On the evening of September the fifteenth, an alumni and freshmen meeting of school of foreign languages was held in Room E101, No.2 Teaching Building. Wang Chunliu the secretary of the Party committe and Freshmen instructor, presidium of student union, ministers of the student union, freshmen assistant instructors and entire freshmen of 2014 attended the event.

On the meeting, after compere’s humorous prologue, teacher Wang warmly welcomed all the freshmen, then she gave instructions on the freshmen’s study and daily life, and encourages them to take an active part in community activities, through which we can experience and toughen ourselves, as well as enrich our life.The student union has also paid close attention to this meeting. Sun Yuanzhe, the president of the student union, warmed the atmosphere by his humorous words, making the freshmen feel at home. After then, the ministers gave brief introductions to respective departments, expecting more freshmen of joining them. The assistant instructors and the general counsel expressed their willingness to help the newcomers with all-out efforts.

The success of the meeting is significant, because it not only offered a communication platform for the alumni and freshmen, but also gave the newcomers an orientation, helping them to adapt to college life. We firmly believes that the join of the new blood promises our school a better future!
