Business translation, a fundamental pillar in today’s globalized world, is at an important turning point with the advent of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence. In a scenario where AI and Massive Language Models are rapidly transforming the field of translation, it is imperative to explore how these innovations are redefining professional practices, academic research, and translator training.

商务翻译是当今全球化世界中的重要支柱。随着新兴技术和人工智能的出现，商务翻译正处于一个重要的转折点。在人工智能和大型语言模型迅速改变翻译领域的场景下，探索这些创新如何重新定义专业实践、学术研究和译者培训等问题，是至关重要的。

Following the success of previous editions in Alicante, Trois-Rivières, and Cairo, the School of Foreign Languages at Shanghai Institute of Technology is proud to present the sixth edition of the International Conference on Economic, Commercial, Financial, and Institutional Translation. This landmark event aims to once again bring together researchers, professionals, educators, and students with two main objectives in mind.

继国际经贸金融及机构翻译大会在阿利坎特、三河城和开罗成功举办后，上海应用技术大学外语学院将有幸举办第六届国际经贸金融及机构翻译大会。这一具有里程碑意义的大会将再次汇集众多研究人员、专业人士、教育工作者和学生，共同探索两个主要目标。

On the one hand, it will closely examine how these technologies are shaping the future of business translation. From the impact of artificial intelligence on the accuracy and speed of financial translations to the ethics of data usage in global economic contexts, the conference aims to explore how these innovations are reshaping professional practice and academic research. On the other hand, it will promote the integration of Western and Eastern research perspectives in this dynamic field. By fostering dialogue and collaboration between scholars and practitioners from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, the conference aims to bridge the gap between different methodological approaches and theoretical frameworks. This integration is expected to enrich the understanding of business translation, enhance cross-cultural communication, and contribute to the development of more comprehensive and globally relevant translation practices.

   一方面，此次大会将密切审视这些新兴技术会如何塑造商务翻译的未来。从人工智能对金融翻译准确性和速度的影响，到全球经济背景下数据使用的伦理，大会旨在探讨这些创新如何重塑专业实践和学术研究。另一方面，此次大会将促进东方和西方研究视角在这一充满活力的领域的整合。通过促进来自不同文化和学术背景的学者和从业者之间的对话和合作，大会旨在弥合不同方法论和理论框架之间的鸿沟。这种整合有望丰富对商务翻译的理解，增强跨文化沟通，并促进更广阔的、全球相关的翻译实践向前发展。
